School-wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) is a framework that
unites school communities to cultivate positive, safe, and supportive
learning cultures. SWPBS helps schools enhance social, emotional,
behavioural, and academic outcomes for children and young people. At
our school, students are regularly exposed to our core values and
expectations: respect, responsibility, resilience and safety. Through our
SWPBS program, we explicitly reteach and model positive behaviours
using a positive behaviour matrix developed in collaboration with our
students and displayed in each classroom to outline our expectations.
